Czech music Crossroads 2016
The band was chosen to represent the Czech Republic at international showcase & conference Czech Music Crossroads in summer 2016. We were voted the second best band by both the audience and the jury.
Ponk goes to Womex
So, we can finally share some amazing news with you! We are proud and happy to announce that WOMEX expert jury have chosen us to play at the world´s biggest world music event! Ponk will be the only band from Central Europe, and the third Czech band in whole history, to play at World Music Expo (WOMEX) in Santiago de Compostela in October 2016.
The showcase & conference WOMEX is aimed mainly at music professionals. This means that we are going to play in front is several thousands of journalists, festival managers, promoters and label representatives.
